I discovered an old post among my drafts that I never published. This was to be published around February of last year, but I suppose I forgot to set the entry from draft to publish. In the spirit of “Flashback Friday” (Throwback Thursday is more popular, but I schedule my blogs on M/W/F), I will post this entry. I’m tempted to erase the old text, but I will italicize it instead because I think it’s fun to get into that mindset of what I was thinking about during that time. I started some work for the new year, trying to tie everything into a series and being more secretive about what I’m using as visual inspiration and the progress of the new work. Since these images are either snippets or rough drafts of the proposed works, I don’t mind sharing. As they become more developed, I’m going to keep their progress to myself. I want to be able to work out my ideas until I have a nice group of completed work to present.
